Our project, “A Starry Night in Punta Bianca,” has been selected as a finalist in the Punta Bianca Competition organized by Terraviva Competitions.
Developed by our talented team—Chamindu Piyathilake, Derek Timms, Monica Cristu, Uditha Fernando, Kumudu Dharmasena, and Samantha Priyadarshana—the proposal explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and sustainability while celebrating the unique natural beauty of Punta Bianca.
A Global Collaborative Effort
Bringing together expertise from Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, and Romania, the project demonstrates the value of international collaboration and diverse design perspectives. Through a shared commitment to creativity and innovation, the team developed a concept that responds thoughtfully to its context while embracing sustainable design principles.
The proposal reflects The Sourcing Collective’s commitment to collaborative problem-solving and design excellence, highlighting how multidisciplinary teams can work together to create meaningful architectural solutions.
Community’s Choice Award Nomination
In addition to being selected as a finalist, “A Starry Night in Punta Bianca” has also been nominated for the Community’s Choice Award. This recognition provides an opportunity for the wider design and architecture community to engage with and support the project.
The nomination is a testament to the dedication, creativity, and hard work invested by the team throughout the competition process.
Looking Ahead
